All hands on deck! 4th Quarter is almost here and a lot of companies are scrambling to close business. This is not an impossible task to accomplish even if there were cut backs in sales & marketing expenditures during the first 3 quarters.
Here are some quick and easy tips to help you Increase Sales in the 4th quarter and build a strong Sales Pipeline for 2010.
Don’t Panic: Easier said than done, I’m sure. But, if you are in panic mode you will not be able to think clearly enough to develop an effective Lead Generation Marketing campaign or focus on Sales Optimization.
Keep it Simple: Develop an easy to understand Sales & Marketing campaign that won’t take months of training or investment to produce results. By now you should know all the key identifiers of your target market or prospect. It is after all, almost the 4th quarter.
Everyone Needs to Help: Pitch in by making calls, researching prospects, cleaning up your database.
Make a Lot of Calls: How many calls? Triple to quadruple the amount of what you had to make last year to get the business. If you made 20-30 calls a day, you should be making at least 90. Sure we all like to send out those emails. They are quick and easy. But, it’s the company who reaches out with that personal touch that will get the sale first. Think back to the days before there was email (Loud Gasping).
